My projected opening lines before the official opening lines are released
tonite. On tuesday evening each college football season , I come back and
evaluate my projected lines vs. the opening lines (or combined average with
first lines sunday evening) in my EarlyBirds write ups, and see if there are
any discernible discreprencies on these lines vs. the opening/first lines .
North Carolina, Michigan State and UCLA came thru with upsets to just about seal their bowling tickets. Northwestern (vs. Illinois), Oregon State (vs. Oregon), Clemson (vs. South Carolina), Nebraska (vs.Colorado 11/26) all have shots in their rivalry games coming up to get to 6 wins- the Ducks will probably have something to quack back at since they can attain a 6th win with an upset at Corvallis. Missouri with Kansas and Iowa State remaining have 4 wins but will be favorites by perhaps a touchdown in these two. Iowa State can get to 6 wins by knocking off Kansas State or Missouri, but they'll have to do it as barking dogs.
